Man who spent weeks at large after dangerous high-speed chase found in Kansas City hotel room

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A man who spent weeks on the run after a dangerous high-speed chase was arrested after he was found in a Kansas City hotel room.

The Cass County, Missouri, Sheriff’s Office says that just after 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1, law enforcement officials arrested Dylan S. Lancaster, 28, of Kansas City.

Investigators noted that Lancaster, who had been on the run for nearly a month, had been charged with tampering with a motor vehicle, aggravated fleeing a stop and property damage.

On Sept. 3, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said it spotted Lancaster driving a stolen vehicle on I-49. When they tried to stop him, he tried to speed away…
