KCPD: Motorcyclist critically injured after running red light

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – An investigation has been opened after a late-night crash critically injured one person, according to the Kansas City Police Department.

Shortly before 11 p.m. on Oct. 3, KCPD said a motorcyclist driving south on Woodland Avenue did not stop at a red light on Linwood Boulevard. The biker entered the intersection and hit the side of a grey Chrysler 200 sedan that was headed west on Linwood with a green light.

The motorcyclist was critically injured and taken to a nearby hospital. No identifying information has been released…
