KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A nonprofit organization is helping change the intercity, one investment at a time.
Kansas City G.I.F.T. announced it selected Wah Gwan Afro Caribbean restaurant as the recipient of the nonprofit’s $100,000 grant. The owner of the restaurant learned the news during a gala in September.
The grant will be used to help Wah Gwan expand and open an Afro-Caribbean market and juice bar on Troost. The owners also expect to be able to grow their dine-in and take-out traffic with the grant, according to Kansas City G.I.F.T…
