Kansas City firefighters rescue 7 dogs from burning home

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Firefighters rescued seven dogs from a burning house Wednesday morning. An eighth dog inside the house at the time of the fire did not survive.

Kansas City firefighters responded to the fire near E. 26th Street and Benton Boulevard around 5:40 a.m. Flames were shooting through the roof when firefighters arrived.

Firefighters searched the house and determined everyone inside was able to escape before emergency crews arrived…
