Legislators’ opinions differ as interim county executive vote approaches

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The same day legislators adopted new guidelines aimed at making the process to select an interim county executive more transparent, at least one Jackson County legislator is losing faith in the process.

A fourth public listening session in eight days was held on Thursday at Macedonia Baptist Church in Kansas City.
