Johnson County girl raises money for children experiencing homeless

OLATHE, Kan. — A young Johnson County girl is making a difference for children in need by selling Halloween candy.

Nine-year-old Alexis Creed is behind the effort. Creed is selling festive ghost tootsie pops to help children experiencing homelessness.

“I am selling ghost tootsie roll pops for $1.50, and the money that I make goes to buy backpacks for homeless kids in the Johnson County area,” Creed explained…
