KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – It’s a plant some call a natural remedy. Others warn it’s a dangerous opioid. As calls for stronger regulations grow around kratom, one Kansas City man says it nearly ruined his life.
“All it does is just take and take and take,” said Anthony, whose identity is being concealed to protect him from addiction stigma.
