Man arrested after meth-fueled chase ends with truck explosion in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – What started as a slow-speed chase turned explosive when the suspect’s truck burst into flames and rolled into an area patrol vehicle.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says that just after 11:15 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 12, deputies attempted to stop a driver near I-29 and N. Oak Trafficway. The truck the driver was in did not have a license plate.
