Reward offered after man found dead in Kansas City, Kansas, park

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Wyandotte County Sheriff’s Office says a cash reward is being offered for any information leading to an arrest in the case of a 40-year-old man who was found dead at a park earlier this year.

Deputies found the victim, Jacob Dupre, on the night of April 26, unresponsive inside a vehicle at Klamm Park located at 2515 North 27th St. in Kansas City, Kansas. He was pronounced dead shortly after paramedics arrived.

The sheriff’s office back in April said it was conducting a death investigation, but in a Facebook post shared on Tuesday, it indicated it is now investigating Dupre’s death as a homicide. It has not released information on how he was killed…
