Kansas City teen gets 15 years for drug deal-turned-deadly shooting

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A 19-year-old man has been sentenced to more than a decade in the Missouri Department of Corrections for his role in a deadly shooting in 2023.

According to court records, Kadin Hatch will serve 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to voluntary manslaughter, armed criminal action and stealing in a Jackson County Circuit court last week.
