KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI — A 57-year-old man delivering groceries with his wife was shot in the head and killed during a road rage incident in Kansas City, and authorities say the 20-year-old gunman later confessed, admitting, “I killed a man that did not deserve it.”
According to the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office, Laken Logan was arrested and charged with second-degree murder, armed criminal action, and unlawful use of a weapon after allegedly opening fire on Cleveland Wright during an encounter on September 23.
Police said Wright and his wife were completing grocery deliveries when a confrontation unfolded near the intersection of NE Chouteau Trafficway and Gardner Avenue.
