The Kansas City Police Department is investigating a shooting near Kansas City’s Santa Fe neighborhood that left one man dead Wednesday.
Officers with the Kansas City Police Department were dispatched around 12:20 p.m. to a residence in the 3000 block of Bellefontaine Avenue . on reports of a shooting, according to a press release from KCPD spokesperson Capt. Jake Becchina.
A man was transported to an area hospital with at least one gunshot wound, where he was pronounced dead, Becchina said…
