KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A murder case in Kansas City, Kansas, has been dismissed after witnesses did not appear at a preliminary hearing earlier this week.
Kenneth Flowers, 18, was previously charged with first-degree murder, aggravated battery, criminal discharge of a firearm and criminal property damage. All of those charges have now been dropped in Wyandotte County District Court.
According to the online court records, a preliminary hearing was set for Wednesday; however, it says, “State can’t go forward without 3 witnesses who do not appear. Case dismissed without prejudice.”…
