KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City’s botanical garden is inviting you to head over to its very own “winter wonderland,” complete with thousands of lights and festive activities to get you into the holiday spirit.
From Thursday, Nov. 20, through Wednesday, Jan 3, families in and outside of the metro will have the opportunity to attend Powell Gardens’ annual “Evergy Festival of Lights,” featuring over a mile of holiday lights, botanical installations and holiday experiences.
“At a time of year when life can feel hurried, Evergy Festival of Lights invites people to reconnect with nature, with traditions, and with one another,” said CEO Cody Jolliff. “Bundle up, gather together, and enjoy an outdoor experience this holiday season.”
From extended pathways through beautiful gardens and a snowflake meadow to a holiday train chugging around the glass conservatory, the annual festival will make you feel like you just made it to the North Pole…
