KC Mayor tours Independence Schools after critical post of 4-day week

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. – Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas visited schools in Independence on Wednesday to see how their four-day school week is working.

The Independence School District invited Kansas City’s Mayor after he posted concerns on social media just before Independence voters approved the district’s plan to continue the current schedule and academic calendar for ten years.
