Increased patrols to hit Kansas City roads along with Thanksgiving traffic

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – People traveling for Thanksgiving starting this weekend will see some extra eyes on the roads and highways.

The Olathe Police Department and Douglas County Sheriff’s Office will join other offices across the region on an enforcement campaign.

Officers will look for people who are breaking laws, especially those driving while impaired or who are not wearing seatbelts…
