Head-on crash leaves woman with serious injuries on southbound I-35

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) – A head-on, two-vehicle crash left one with serious injuries on southbound Interstate 35 on Friday, Nov. 21, around 9:05 p.m.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the driver with serious injuries was 29-year-old Breigh Vanlerberg.

Law enforcement reported Vanlerberg was headed southbound on I-35 when she lost control of her Ford Fusion, struck a barrier wall and then hit a semi-truck head-on.

The driver of the semi-truck was 38-year-old Kellie Boggs, who had no apparent injuries in the wreck…
