KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) – In 24 hours, 9 pets were dumped at a Kansas City shelter, killing 1 and overwhelming staff.
The Humane Society of Greater Kansas City says that on Tuesday, Nov. 25, staff discovered the pets outside their facility.
According to the team, 8 were trapped in containers, but security footage shows one small kitten escaped into nearby trees.
