High-speed chase ends in double crash, drug bust

CASS COUNTY, Mo. (KCTV) – A convicted felon crashed twice during a high-speed chase before State Troopers seized 58 grams of cocaine and a gun he threw.

Cass County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Wednesday, Nov. 26, indicate that Pierre J. Jones, 39, of Kansas City now faces multiple felony charges, including:

  • Aggravated fleeing
  • Unlawful possession of a weapon
  • Delivery of a controlled substance
  • Unlawful use of a weapon
  • Operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner

His charges come after a dramatic pursuit near I-49 in Cass County.
