A second person has died after a car flipped over a guardrail into Brush Creek early Sunday morning near the Plaza.
Emergency personnel responded to the area of west Bush Creek and north Ward Parkway at approximately 2:20 a.m. Sunday on reports of an injury crash, according to a prior press release from officer Alayna Gonzalez, a spokesperson for the Kansas City Police Department.
A preliminary investigation revealed a white four-door sedan was traveling west on Ward Parkway at “a high rate of speed,” Gonzalez said. The sedan “failed to negotiate” a curve, and it careened over the guardrail…
