These Kansas City metro schools are closed, starting late Dec. 2 due to snow

Kansas City’s first snowstorm blew through the area Monday, l eaving roads covered or partly covered in snow across the metro.

Preliminary reports indicate areas in the metro received anywhere from around 1 to 5 inches of snow throughout the day, according to a snowfall report from the National Weather Service. In many areas, crews will continue to work overnight to remove snow from roadways.
