On Monday, December 1, RideKC changed several bus routes due to winter weather in Kansas City. The changes affect many routes to keep passengers safe and continue service during snow and ice.
For the Troost MAX line, northbound buses are rerouted at Bannister Road and Grandview Exit. They continue west on Bannister before returning to the regular route. Southbound buses detour at 95th Terrace and Bannister Road, then travel east on Bannister to rejoin the normal path. The 9 9th Street route keeps its westbound service. Eastbound buses detour via Bennington, Truman, and Ewing before returning to the regular route.
The 11 Northeast-Westside route has westbound buses detouring at 11th and Broadway, then heading south and west on Southwest Boulevard. Eastbound buses adjust at Southwest Boulevard and Summit, then go east and north on Broadway before returning to the normal route.
