Shelter KC hosts Christmas event to aid homeless this winter

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Shelter KC has opened additional beds and is collecting coats to help homeless individuals in Kansas City during the cold and snowy start to December.

The shelter is working to provide emergency overflow housing and distribute cold-weather gear to those in need, as temperatures drop and conditions become more dangerous for those living on the streets.
