KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Gas prices across Missouri and the nation have dropped to a four-year low, offering relief to holiday travelers.
Statewide prices averaged around $2.59 per gallon on Thursday, Dec. 11, according to AAA Missouri’s Weekend Gas Watch. That is 5 cents less than last week and 8 cents less than last year.
“Missouri drivers have not seen the statewide gas price average this low since March 2021,” said AAA Spokesperson Nick Chabarria. “That will be welcome news for the 2.1 million Missourians expected to drive to their year-end holiday destinations.”…
