Human waste spills onto highway, causes crash in near KC

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A “human waste” spill caused a crash Thursday in Liberty, Missouri.

Just before 2:10 p.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) said southbound MO-291 Highway, north of MO-210 was closed at South Liberty Parkway. It was reported to be back open just before 3:30 p.m.

MSHP said the crash was caused by a “partial load of human waste being lost on the roadway.”

A 52-year-old Independence man was taken to North Kansas City Hospital with minor injuries…
