KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – One Kansas City child battling a disease is waiting for a generous person to step up and change her life.
7-year-old Evelyn Minjares was a completely normal kid until one day, everything changed. In December of 2024, she began to swell with fluid. After testing, it was determined that she had kidney disease.
From medicine to infusions to countless doctors’ appointments, her journey has been anything but easy. Evelyn hasn’t been able to live life as a normal kid for an entire year.
She often has to leave school early or sit out on fun activities like going to the trampoline park. It’s something no child should have to endure…
