Kansas City considering nearly $16M for KCATA, IRIS, but major changes expected

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City council members on Thursday are expected to consider some big changes to the city’s public transit system.

The city and the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KCATA) went back and forth for most of the year while trying to reach a funding agreement.
