Local teacher raises money for students by walking from Lee’s Summit to KCK school

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — A local teacher walks from Lee’s Summit, Missouri to Kansas City, Kansas in what he says is an effort to help local kids living below the poverty line.

The trip is over 16 miles from his home in Lee’s Summit to Rosedale Middle School in KCK. He’s made the trek three separate times in support of his students.
