KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Healing House KC launched its annual Day of Giving Saturday, seeking donations to help people without homes during one of the coldest times of the year.
The nonprofit handed out essential items, including warm winter clothing, deodorant, toys for children, food, and personal notes to those in need.
“We are people with addiction who made poor choices. But we want to be a light in this community,” said Bobbi Jo Reed, Executive Director of Healing House KC.
