KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The Kansas City Police Department responded to two different crime scenes Monday morning around 10 a.m., one involving a homicide.
Authorities stated that just after 10 a.m., officers responded to a call at 27th and Quincy, finding a female victim suffering from lacerations. The victim was transported to a local hospital for serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
On the scene, KCPD received information about the location of a possible suspect, which led them to the 6600 block of E 16th St. to investigate.
