KC Pet Project offers free pet adoptions through New Year’s Eve

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Dozens of shelter pets could be home for the holidays – for free.

KC Pet Project announced on Tuesday, Dec. 23, that it will waive all adoption fees through Dec. 31 as part of its Home for the Holidays adoption special.

Shelter leaders noted that the promotion includes dogs, puppies, cats, kittens and small animals at all KC Pet Project locations.

“The season is about warmth, comfort, and heading home for the holidays. That’s what shelter pets need and long for, too,” said Kate Meghji, CEO of KC Pet Project. “With extra time home, holidays can be an ideal time to help adopted pets settle in. By waiving adoption fees, we hope it makes it easier for pets and people to find each other – and begin the new year together.”…
