KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The Kansas City Fire Department rescued a man stuck in waist-deep water and mud on Christmas Eve night.
The department was dispatched near the 8400 block of North Overland Court at 11:51 p.m. on Wednesday, December 24. On arrival, crews found a man who was in waist-deep water and stuck in the mud, approximately 30 to 40 yards off the bank.
Crews deployed a rope bag by throwing it out to the victim, who was able to grab it. The man was then assisted to shore at 12:16 a.m. He was evaluated by on-scene personnel and transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital…
