Sharp temperature drop & rain ahead for KC after unseasonably warm days

Dense fog and warm temperatures persist in Kansas City ahead of the weekend, but colder weather and rain is ahead, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures Friday will stay 25-30 degrees above normal for this time of year, with a high temperature near 65 degrees. Foggy conditions could impact drivers in the morning, but the fog is likely to quickly dissipate as a front moves in, meteorologists said in a weather discussion.
