INDEPENDENCE, Mo. (KCTV) – Investigators are working to determine whether a deadly Saturday crash was caused by a driver under the influence of alcohol.
Officers with the Independence Police Department responded to the scene around 9:18 p.m. on Dec. 27. They determined that a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado ran a red light on westbound Kentucky Road and entered onto MO-291 as a 2010 Ford Ranger was driving north.
