KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Families in Chiefs Kingdom got a dose of holiday cheer Saturday as the “Chiefs Kingdom Kids Wonderland” turned GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium into a winter playground.
Children enjoyed mini golf, public skating, and bounce houses, and they had the chance to meet K.C. Wolf and members of the Chiefs cheerleading squad. Organizers said the event was designed to give families a free — or low-cost — outlet for kid-friendly activities after the busy holiday rush.
Attendees were also invited to give back: donation bins for The Salvation Army were set up throughout the stadium to collect children’s winter weather gear. Organizers said donated coats, hats and gloves will be distributed to local families in need…
