Officers responding to a 911 call over the weekend found three family members dead of gunshot wounds inside a townhouse in Riverside, a police spokesman said.
Riverside police and fire dispatchers received a 911 call about 1 a.m. Saturday where no one spoke, but the line stayed open, prompting officers to respond to the Riverside Townhouses community in the 4700 block of Northwest Riverside Drive, said Det. Shaun Zufelt with the Riverside Police Department.
There, officers found the home where the call originated and knocked at the front door and identifying themselves as police. When they didn’t get a response, they entered the townhouse to check the wellbeing of the residents, Zufelt said…
