KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – In a brief report shared Monday, the Kansas City Police Department said major crime rates fell “significantly” in 2025.
According to data comparing 2025’s major crime rates to 2024:
- Homicides fell 5%
- Non-fatal shootings fell 31%
- Robberies fell 27%
- Property damage fell 19%
- Stealing fell 15%
- Stolen autos fell 32%
