Kansas City trial begins for long-haul trucker accused in two 1990s cold-case murders

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The trial for a long-haul trucker turned accused killer began in Kansas City, Kan., on Jan. 5.

Gary Dion Davis, Sr. is charged with second-degree murder for the deaths of two people in the 1990s.

Pearl Davis, also known as Sameemah Mussawir was killed in November 1996. Police found the victim’s body in a house on Lafayette Avenue. Davis is also charged with killing Christina King two years later on Dec. 25, 1998. Officers found King’s body behind an abandoned building…
