Police: Dog bite ruled cause of 13-year-old’s death

LINN COUNTY, Kan. (KOAM) — Authorities in Kansas City confirm the cause of death of a Linn County, Kansas, teenager.

According to the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department, Airen Andula, 13, of Pleasanton, Kansas, died from dog bite injuries.

Missouri prosecutors charged a suspect, Damon Leonard, with abandonment of a corpse last month. Kansas City, Kansas, authorities have filed requested charges of interference with law enforcement, criminal desecration, and having a vicious dog at large.
