KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Parents and neighborhood watch members are standing guard at school crosswalks after six ICE agents were spotted near an elementary school earlier this week.
The community around Garfield Elementary has been on edge since Tuesday morning when a neighborhood watch group saw the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents walking around Kessler Park, about a block from the school. The six agents were all wearing different insignia, according to the neighborhood watch members, and all were carrying weapons.
