A DRIVER was left stunned after he was hit with a $857 bill for a three-mile tow despite a strict new law that has come into effect.
Rich Ramponi of Kansas City, Missouri, received the bill after he parked his vehicle outside a bar at the Country Club Plaza, in a space for members only.
In the few minutes he went inside to find that the bar was closed, his vehicle was hauled away.
