KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – 15-year-old Lucas Long has been identified as the victim in a homicide near Monroe and E. Meyer Blvd on Jan. 8, according to the Kansas City Police Department.
Police said the victim was shot and killed around 2:45 p.m. last Thursday after a confrontation in an apartment complex parking lot.
Authorities found Long lying unresponsive in the parking lot behind an apartment building, and he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police have yet to release a suspect’s name for this incident…
