KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Multiple Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) branded vehicles were discovered in a Northland parking lot this week, much to the dismay of local officials.
Despite the cars’ significant presence in the lot, Kansas City, Missouri, Councilman Johnathan Duncan of the city’s 6th District says there is no evidence to suggest a mass ICE operation in Kansas City. The lot first gained attention on Tuesday, Jan. 12.
I’ll say it again- I’ve seen no evidence to suggest there will be a mass ICE operation here in Kansas City. I’ve also seen nothing to suggest there will be an ICE detention facility built here in Kansas City. We must remain vigilant against being baited into fear.

Multiple white vans are now blocking vehicles from public view in the said parking lot near Worlds of Fun. Duncan also reports that he confirmed a contracted automotive company in Kansas applied decals to the vehicles. The ICE vehicles were not visible on Wednesday, and there is no word on where they may be going next…
