KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A 41-year-old man from Mexico, living in Kansas City, Missouri, was sentenced in federal court on Tuesday for illegally reentering the United States.
Gilberto Javana-Zuniga was sentenced to one year and one day imprisonment in federal prison without parole followed by one year of supervised release, according to a news release by the Department of Justice (DOJ).
