Hundreds of Kansas City families to get free devices, tech training to access online benefits

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) – A new program will provide up to 700 free devices and digital skills training to Kansas City families.

Riteway Development says it launched ADOPT 2.0 on Martin Luther King Jr. Day at the Vernon Center. The program runs through September 2026.

Organizers say many families miss out on government benefits, job opportunities and educational resources because they do not know how to access them online…
