An unfolding burglary investigation in Jackson County has resulted in the arrest of a man linked to the theft of over $11,000 in goods. According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, as reported by FOX17, Ralph Phy was detained following the discovery of stolen items, which included a chainsaw, electronic equipment, and surveillance-related items.
The theft occurred in the Hardscrabble area of the Donelson Branch community, where investigators found evidence of break-ins at multiple structures on the property. WSMV’s account noted that Phy originally denied involvement but eventually admitted to the thefts after deputies recovered a chainsaw, further stolen objects, and the information provided by witnesses. Phy’s confession was a pivotal turn in the investigation, leading to the recovery of additional property.
