More than 100 workers will lose their jobs near downtown Kansas City this spring

Over 100 people will be losing their jobs in Kansas City once a company’s government contracts end.

TelaForce, part of Florida-based tech services company Titan Technologies, provided notice to the state that its work will be ending at 2300 Main St., near Union Station. TelaForce is ceasing operations due to certain contracts with a government agency ending, the letter says.

The site will close March 20, impacting 104 employees. That includes nine data collection supervisors, 89 interviewers, five lead interviewers and one task manager. The affected employees are not represented by a labor union, the letter says…
