Parts of Kansas are expected to see as much as a foot of snow Jan. 23-25 as a huge winter storm sweeps across more than half the nation, according to the latest information from the National Weather Service.
The weather service predicted 8 to 12 inches would fall at Winfield, Chanute, Coffeyville and Newton.
