Kansas City residents are getting ready to shovel a record amount of snow recorded Saturday.
As of 4 p.m., Kansas City has received 3.6 inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service. This breaks the all-time daily record for Jan. 24 of 2.2 inches set in 1956, and forecasters say more snow is on the way.
