Kansas City man gets prison term for gun, drug crimes

A Kansas City, Missouri, man has been sentenced in federal court for illegal firearm activity and marijuana distribution.

Nathan Caldwell Jr., 34, was sentenced by Chief U.S. District Judge Brian C. Wimes to 12 years in federal prison without the possibility of parole. The court classified Caldwell Jr. as a career offender based on multiple prior felony convictions.
